How does one describe the immensity of something like this? The true IMMENSITY of the country and its natural landscape.įor a country just the size of New Jersey, there is a staggering spectrum of biodiversity and natural wonders from the Hermon Mountain and thick forests up north, wetlands hosting untold bird species, multi-colored deserts in the south reminiscent of Arizona and Nevada and Utah, the Dead Sea (the lowest place on earth), plus the coastal plain, Jerusalem and its many hills, Eilat on the Red Sea and so on. One thing you don’t realize as you drive throughout Southern Israel is… Now, I’ve been to the Grand Canyon a couple times and that was an absolutely flooring experience.īut somehow, this was just as impressive, if not more so.
